Did you watch Host and think, man, I wish I could help (or hinder) these unwitting seyance participants? Well, now you can with the new game Ghosts, from most of the team that brought you Host. The game is Written and Directed by one of the writers of Host, Jed Sheppard and stars the five leading ladies of the Host film, Haley Bishop, Radina Drandova, Jemma Moore, Caroline Ward, and Emma Louise Webb. The game is billed as Real Time video game and they're not kidding, you will only be able to play it at an appointed time each day, along with everyone else who is playing. It's a novel concept and should make for some interesting playthroughs. I'm not sure if it will be some sort of majority rules type scenario, or if each player will get their own instance of the game. It calls back to some older social experiment games like 1 vs. 100 on Xbox and the more recent HQ Trivia phenomena.
Ghosts is being made in partnership with Visible Games and Limited Run Games, and is coming to Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. There is also talk of a collectors edition that has all sorts of cool extras. So if you wanted to help these leading ladies survive the night, or reenact their grisly Host deaths in real time, make sure to check this out!
