For A Drama About Criminal Justice: Monster (Netflix)
This film about a talented teen whose world is turned upside down when he is charged with felony murder has inconsistent pacing, but is worth watching for Kelvin Harrison, Jr.'s performance alone.  

For A Sharp, Funny Comedy: Plan B (Hulu)
Plan B gets your attention with the wonderful chemistry between the main characters and the sharp funny writing.  Plan B is a girl buddy comedy that should be your choice A.
